I mentioned during the interview that I was planning to rant today about current events—but this interview went so well that there is no need to rant alone into my mic like I usually do on Fridays. Still, there’s SO MUCH to rant about.
While the focus is on issues affecting working people, we briefly discuss the “insurrection” in Los Angeles. Let me be perfectly clear: I welcome a (nonviolent) insurrection to depose this cruel, tyrannical, and ugly regime. It can fall. It must fall.
But in the meantime, I hope we can all just pay our bills and survive. Wouldn’t that be nice? This audio interview covers careers, capitalism, art, design, the (shitty) job market, and a lot more.
