If you don’t know who Mamdani is, you better go back and read the news from last week: The story of his improbable victory in the primary is filed under “good news for the Left,” and it’s the only headline in that category.
A real image of Bernie Sanders raising his fist at a rally works almost as well, though. It conveys where the energy is on the Left these days (I wish it were in the streets, but it’s not—not yet at least.) Here’s a link to the Joe Rogan episode I reference in the rant. Worth watching.
I’m trying to keep my own energy level up, but it’s hard, especially now that summer is fully upon us. The heat has been intense in the D.C. area, and I suspect that this is only the beginning.
